Range Officer duties:

  1. -Work on Sat AM-PM and Sun AM-PM

  2. -Be available to help with prize table monitoring (only 6 or so needed)

  3. -USPSA/IDPA certification and experience not required, but preferred.

  4. -Some stage construction, if available and local to Frostproof

  5. -Be willing to possibly volunteer to run a squad on Friday PM (usually only 4-6 needed)

I am in need of experienced Range Officers for this year’s match.  Understandably, most if not all of my local help will not be able to afford to travel to Central Florida to work...although I’m trying to convince them!  This match is not your typical event.  The shooters will often not hear the stop buzzer and will need physical interference, which is allowed.  Scoring is a bit different, things move a bit faster, but all in all, it’s still about keeping the shooter safe, and helping them have a good time.  Below is some more information.  I hope you are willing to help!

Range Officer benefits:

  1. -Free entry into the match for one amateur slot to be shot on Friday         Discounted 2nd slot on Friday if space allows.  Prize table visit(s) included!

  3. -RO dinner/appreciation function Friday night at range

Plan A - $50/day per diem for days worked (Sat-Sun) - This would be an option for local staff


Plan B - Match Hotel accommodations for 1/2 of a double occupancy room for up to 4 nights.  You will need to note a roommate preference.


Plan C - Shoot BOTH Lim and Open on Friday without per-diem or hotel assistance.
